Join us as we host this two day seminar with Dr. Bob Barnes of Sheridan House Ministries. You will learn real solutions to overcome the risks and challenges faced by all of today's busy families. Sessions will include:

• How to set boundaries and establish consequences to encourage your child and strengthen the parent/child relationship
• How to help your child see the value and character building through work
• Prepare your child for success in adulthood

This event is open to the public.
There is a $5.00 charge per person, $10.00 per couple for both days. Registration available online only.

Welcome to a new and exciting year at Lighthouse Christian School.  We have been happily preparing for the arrivals of our students on August 18, (grades K-5); and on August 19, (grades 6-8).  Our staff has worked diligently on standards and benchmarks for Science and Social Studies and our new curriculum will reflect these on all grade levels.

We anxiously await the arrival on August 20 of our two interactive “Smart Boards”.  These will be strategically placed in the building to give access to all grades.  Our staff will be trained to bring this advanced technology directly to your student in new and exciting lessons in all subject areas.

We are also converting data to begin services with Renweb, a new administrative software.  This should dramatically improve on-line communication.  Within a few months parents will be able to log on and not only see up to date school information, but also their child’s academic progress.  Big steps for our mighty little school!
