Children in kindergarten – 3rd grade, who love art are invited to be a part of LCS Art Club, led by art instructor, Jennifer Murphy.
Your child does not need to be an artist to be a member of the Art Club, but does need to have an interest in Art!
The lessons are fun and imaginative and will introduce children to any or all of the following:
- elements of art
- principles of design
- master artists
- art history
- specific art techniques
- use of watercolors, tempera paint, pastels, and other media
Art club is more than just an art class – It encourages focus, problem solving, curiosity, concentration, pride and creativity in each child.
