AISF ACCREDITATION VISIT

In May of this year we had our visit from the Association of Independent Schools of Florida. The purpose of the visit was to provide LCS with provisional accreditation. That means that we meet and/or exceed the standards set forth by AISF. It also means we have completed two successful site visits and are in the process of applying for full accreditation.

Three team members spent the day reviewing our self study report, observing classrooms, checking student and personnel files, touring the present and future facility and giving a preliminary report. 

The team was led by Dr. Doug Laurie, the co-owner of American Heritage Schools.  Dr. Laurie’s team was most impressed with the way we carry out our written philosophy with the students in each and every classroom they visited. This speaks volumes about the quality and integrity of the wonderful staff at Lighthouse Christian School. Just imagine what life will be like this school year when we add the perfect building to the mix! 

Dr. Laurie was also very impressed with the new building and feels that we will have no problem filling it to capacity. God has truly blessed us and enabled us to make this vision become a reality.
